Dollar prices, US retailers, and FTC compliant disclosures are the water this site swims in. I started KeptList out of frustration with review sites that bury the one thing you came for: a straight answer, with the reasoning shown. Everything here follows one rule. If we would not say it to a friend who asked “just tell me what to buy,” we do not publish it.
Set the criteria before the contenders
Evaluation criteria for each category are defined before any products are considered, per our methodology, so the field cannot be reverse engineered around a favorite.
Review every draft
Claims verified against sources, prices and specs checked, and anything that reads confident but is not supported gets cut before you ever see it.
Sign every verdict
Every KEPT and every CUT is approved or rejected here. No verdict publishes on autopilot.
Own the corrections
Reader error reports come straight to me and are handled under our editorial standards, fixed in the open, never silently.
